Day 3 – Cusco

Today started off waking up with a massive headache, likely from the high altitude. Lots of water and Tylenol helped. We went to Jack’s Cafe (as recommended by my brother Jack) and got some delicious breakfast.

After breakfast we headed to Sacsayhaman, which was a long hike up to get to the ruins.

We also walked over to the Christo Blanco. Basically a mini version of what is in Rio.

After our hike we hit up some delicious ice cream before heading to lunch.

After lunch we hung out in the Plaza de Armas some more and just soaked up some sun.

For dinner we decided to be adventurous and try the Peruvian delicacy Guinea Pig! It actually tasted like chicken and really wasn’t too bad.
